Meet the
Team.
Jordyn Vogt started Vogt Electric in 2021. It is a commercial shop by choice: retail and restaurant build-outs, fuel and car wash sites, industrial power, and public work across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. Five master electricians on the team, journeymen who run their own jobs, and apprentices coming up behind them.
Jordyn Vogt
President/Master Electrician
Master electrician, thirteen years in the trade and nine of those in commercial. Jordyn trained in Canby and apprenticed in southwest Minnesota before moving to the Twin Cities and starting Vogt Electric in 2021. Petroleum work is what he likes building most.
Kole Vogt
Financial Controller
CPA and the financial side of the business. Kole handles reporting, billing, and contract administration, so pay applications and lien waivers reach a GC's accounting department when they expect them. Master's from South Dakota, CPA since 2020.
Sam Mertens
Project Manager/Estimator, Master Electrician
Master electrician on the estimating and management side. Sam builds the bid and then stays with the job through submittals, scheduling, and closeout. Twelve years in the trade, licensed in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Zachary Wentzel
Technical Operations Foreman, Master Electrician
Runs the work in the field. Zachary holds master and journeyman licenses in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, with seven years across underground, petroleum, industrial, and motor controls. He learned on the job and believes anyone with the drive can.
